Introduction

Several basic medical science departments within the Faculty of Medicine collaborate with the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in offering programs and/or courses in the Life Sciences. These basic medical science departments include: Anatomy & Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Laboratory Medicine & Pathobiology, Microbiology, Molecular Genetics & Molecular Biology, Nutritional Sciences, Pharmacology &Toxicology, and Physiology.
The collaborative programs, listed in previous Arts & Science Calendars as "Basic Medical Science programs", are now designated as Life Sciences programs, and are listed in alphabetical order within the Life Sciences heading in this Section of this Calendar.
